Fabi Flu Tablet is an antiviral medicine. It has recently been approved for the treatment of mild coronavirus disease (COVID-19). It inhibits an enzyme called RNA polymerase that helps the virus make more copies of itself. This way it decreases the viral load in the body.

Take this medicine only as per the dose and duration suggested by your doctor. Do not self-medicate. The most common side effects of this medicine include increased uric acid level in blood, diarrhea, decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), and increased liver enzymes. If you experience any allergic reactions after taking the medicine or if any of the side effects bother you, let your doctor know.

Fabi Flu Tablet is not recommended for women who are pregnant, suspected to be pregnant, or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have a history of abnormalities in uric acid metabolism or have gout.
